Family with Young Children
Over all it was acceptable. The bed could have been better and more pillows. I'd suggest they install ice machines on each floor and not just in the lobby.

Traveling as Couple
I have only stayed in one other hotel I felt the rooms had been rented by the hour. This was the second. The filth in the room was horrible. There were hairs in the shower and on the sink that were long blonde. I have short grayish hair and I can assure you my husband is not a long blonde headed man. Our feet literally stuck to the carpets and the gap under the door let "critters" into the room. It was so bad we did not stay the second night despite the fact we had already paid for it. We went down the street to another one star hotel in Crescent City and paid $20 more had a clean room with no one elses filth or hairs. Did not know there was no air conditioning on the coast, was shocked about that. Had to open windows to get cool air in, which was OK, but also had traffic noise.
